Also known under a number of names, like Zerib Kebir. Interesting location, small bay but huge reef once you are underwater - some canyons, almost caves on the south reef. Small camp right next to it that is continually growing, toilets and showers, bar, etc. Entrance via the beach if you don't visit by boat, but has some rocks and reefs, so not super easy. Due to wind and waves when I visited, the water was a bit cloudy, but would still rate it a 4/5. I will come back one day, hopefully on even better conditions inshaallah

This is a great spot to come and snorkel and swim for the day . You can get a taxi there and simply pay 5 euros per a person and then you get access to shade and sun loungers The staff are amazing, and very accommodating . Drinks and snacks and shisha available plus massage . This is a rustic beach camp so dont expect it to be like a hotel it should not be its a calm relaxing place to enjoy the sea The bay has 2 swim routes and is very interesting with coral sea life and caves to explore . And is sheltered so better than a hotel pier for swimming I would go back anytime as its the rustic vibe im looking for , and a welcome change from the hotels . They even have basic accommodation for travelers The owner is kind and can organize any trip for you , even snorkeling guides there and then . I went with my 3 children no problems at all as there are many swimmers and staff around if there was any issues Its food to support a local business and the prices are fair for the region

You absolutely must dive here, there is a lot of caves and tight passages. See the attached map. You can use ropes to overcome the strong current, which can happen occasionally. Dive centers call this place Zerib Kebir.

El Zarib, accessible directly from the shore in El Quseir, stands out as one of the most beautiful diving spots in the Red Sea due to its diverse caves and abundant marine life. Divers enjoy both deep and shallow options, making it suitable for various skill levels, while the Coral Garden area resembles paradise with vibrant coral formations. The site's stunning reefs and underwater variety ensure endless exploration without boredom, no matter how many dives you complete.
