A picture-postcard white-sand bay roughly 65 km south of Marsa Alam, often nicknamed "the Maldives of Egypt" for its turquoise shallows and gin-clear water. Two fringing reefs run parallel to the beach with a sandy channel between them. Depths stay between 2 and 14 m the whole way out, currents are negligible, and turtles forage on the seagrass patches close to shore — a perfect combination for families, Discover Scuba sessions, and snorkelers travelling with certified divers.
