PADI Courses in Marsa Alam
Marsa Alam is an excellent place to learn to dive: warm, clear water, calm bays for training, and real reefs minutes away. We teach the full path from a first try-dive to professional level, with local instructors, small classes, and open-water dives at the same sites our certified guests come to see.
Fast reply on WhatsApp. Hotel pickup available. Beginner and certified options, small groups when possible.
Where to start
Never dived? Discover Scuba Diving is a half-day introduction: a short briefing, basic skills in shallow water, and a guided dive, no certificate needed. Ready to certify? The Open Water Diver course (usually three days) qualifies you to dive independently with a buddy worldwide.
Going further
Advanced Open Water adds deep and navigation dives plus adventure dives like drift and night, and opens up sites such as Elphinstone. Rescue Diver builds the skills to prevent and manage problems, and Divemaster is the first professional rating for those who want to work in diving.
How we teach
Courses mix theory (often done before you arrive via eLearning), sheltered-water practice in calm bays, and open-water dives on real reefs. Classes are kept small so you get real instructor time, and we move at a pace that suits you rather than a fixed timetable.

Safety and sea conditions

Frequently asked questions
Can I do a PADI course in Marsa Alam as a beginner?
Yes. Most people start with Discover Scuba Diving or the Open Water Diver course, both designed for complete beginners.
How long does the Open Water course take?
Usually about three days, covering theory, confined-water skills, and four open-water training dives. Doing the theory by eLearning beforehand can shorten the in-water schedule.
Do I need to be a strong swimmer?
You need to be comfortable in the water and able to swim and float unaided. You do not need to be an athlete.
What is the minimum age to learn to dive?
Junior options start from age 10, with depth limits, and there are try-dive options for younger children. We will advise based on your group.
Will I dive real reefs during the course?
Yes. After the sheltered-water sessions, your training dives are on real Marsa Alam reefs and bays.
