Sha'ab Sharm

A large oval-shaped offshore reef in the Fury Shoals complex, fully exposed to the open sea. The eastern wall drops steeply into the blue and forms a long plateau at 25–30 m where scalloped hammerhead schools cruise in summer.

About this site

The eastern wall drops steeply into the blue and forms a long plateau at 25–30 m where scalloped hammerhead schools cruise in summer. The north and south tips channel strong currents — drift diving is the norm here, with surface marker buoys deployed.
